Best Apps Like Facetune To Edit Your Photos

By: Editorial Staff

There are so many apps like Facetune that promise you the ability to perfect your selfies and make your photos look much better. They give you the tools you need to change what you want and keep what you want while making a photo that looks natural. There are some things that you need to look for in a good app like Facetune. It needs to be dependable, safe and doesn’t take credit for your work. Be sure to read the fine print before you download any apps and upload your own photos to them. Some apps will try to take your work and if you give them permissions, there is very little that you can do about it.

Best Apps Like Facetune

While Facetune may be the most popular app to edit your photos, it is far from the only choice out there. In fact, there are several choices that are better than Facetune. Facetune is a great option if you are just starting out you need something quick, but what about if you need something more? Or something different? Try these apps like Facetune.

1. Adobe Photoshop Express

Adobe Photoshop Express takes the tools that you know from the desktop Photoshop and puts them on your phone. There are millions of people who use this app every day to create content and edit their photos. If you know how to use Photoshop already, this one should be really easy for you to learn. If you don’t, it is probably a skill you should have, so start here with your learning.

2. BeautyPlus

BeautyPlus has had over 800 million selfies edited by 300 million people. This app is simple and powerful, allowing you to edit your photos, add filters, artistic effects, augmented reality (AR) filters and so much more.It is really difficult to even start to outline what you can do with this app. From the basics of erasing acne, correcting skin tone, widening your eyes, smoothing skin, and whitening your teeth to adding stickers and art, you can do just about whatever you want. You can use the app itself to take pictures and get the perfect image automatically or you can upload your images.

3. Camera 360

If you are looking for some goofy filters or filters that you may not have seen on other people’s selfies, Camera 360 has some great options. This smartphone app is also on the internet, so you can build anywhere you want, save it, and use the photos. This one doesn’t get updated all that frequently, but it is still a good option for filters.

4. Perfect365

Another good option is Perfect365, which is completely free. You can update your selfies and pictures quickly and easily. The features aren’t the best, but you will get them for free instead of paying for them. This app does have some glitches and ads, but it makes due.

5. PicsArt

PicsArt is a mobile app that was originally designed for making collages out of your photos. Now, it is well known for editing and making unique photos. It has been installed on more than 450 million devices. It is the most popular app by a wide margin, and with good reason. It has a massive number of features, including an integrated camera, a clipart library, fantastic drawing tools, and some great stickers. The community continues to build more features and options.

As long as you are using your own photos, most of the features are free. There are some ads that you will have to contend with, but there isn’t much to complain about.

6. PicSay

If you are looking for an editing app that will spice up your pictures, PicSay is that app. You can do so many different things to your photos, including sharpen them, remove your red eyes, crop them, straighten things, distort, add stickers, paint, make color splashes, and so much more.

If you want to be a bit more creative than just clearing up your skin or whitening your teeth, this is a good choice. If you want to do these things, of course you can do them.

7. Pixlr

Pixlr is a good mobile app that is actually a camera, a collage maker, and an editor like Facetune. You can easily do everything within this app. The editor is fantastic and you will get a realistic-looking image. Everything is easy to use and understand, and you will get your editing done quickly and move on from there.

I like it because it takes the place of a few different apps.

8. Pixlr-o-matic

If you love Pixlr, you will love Pixlr-o-matic. This one is a bit lighter and allows you to simply edit your photos and create designs. It also has a desktop version that you can use to get even better results. If you don’t need everything that Pixlr offers, this one is a good choice.

9. piZap

The piZap Photo Editor is a fun and easy choice if you are just starting to learn how to edit your photos. There are a plethora of effects, fonts, stickers, collage layouts, borders, frames, and editing tools. Even better, there are some great tutorials and information about the features so you can learn how they all work.

10. Relook

Relook is an award-winning app like Facetune that will allow you to edit your photos on your iPhone or tablet. It is a great choice if you have larger photos to edit because you can transfer it fairly easy from one device to another.

11. RetouchMe

If you aren’t interested in doing your own editing, RetouchMe is a fantastic option. For less than a cup of coffee, you can get a professional to retouch your photos and make you look better.

Unfortunately, there isn’t a subscription fee or anything like that, so you will have to pay per photo, which can get pretty expensive if you post selfies every day. Even so, it’s a great option for those occasional selfies.

12. Retrica

Retrica is a good app that will give your photos that old school feel while still helping you to look perfect. It is a filtering app primarily, but you can also do some light editing.

You can really get into the nitty-gritty details of your photos with this one. You will probably have to use this app on top of some of the others if you want to perfect yourself, but if you just want filters or to play with the levels of the photo, it’s a solid choice.

13. VSCO Cam

VSCO is as popular as Facetune anymore and with good reason. With some great presets and filters for your photos, you can make truly beautiful photos and videos. The editing tools aren’t quite as well known, but they are pretty good as well. There are some free features to VSCO and some premium ones, so you may need to pay a few dollars to get everything that you want.So there you have it-some options to edit your photos other than Facetune. I’ve found that I need to use a combination of these apps to get the best possible results, but your milage will vary. There are so many options that you should download a few and play with them. It will quickly become clear which apps aren’t going to work for you and which ones will.
